IT Help Desk Support Specialist

Winning Technologies is looking for a full time IT Help Desk Support Specialist to perform client end user assistance as well as some project work.


  • Provide first line response for customers requiring assistance with information technology issues and problems
  • Respond to requests for technical assistance by phone, email, remote desktop and/or using the helpdesk ticket management system
  • Manage issues to resolution, updating the helpdesk system and communicating with relevant parties and manager
  • Maintain and support local and remote client computers, tablets, smart phones, servers, network equipment and common applications
  • Monitor/Maintain customer backup system alerts and escalate errors
  • Support/maintain user accounts through Active Directory including rights, permissions and groups
  • Quickly and accurately determine incident scope and impact of assigned tickets
  • Follow up on tickets at pre-defined intervals until
  • Update ticket system daily with descriptions of work performed
  • Escalate more involved problems to appropriate senior technicians
  • Participate in an afterhours On-Call rotation shift
  • Other duties as assigned Skill Set:
  • Ability to work through problems that arise in a desktop environment
  • Familiar with Citrix environments and Citrix Management
  • Familiar with Virtualization - Hypervisor and Hyper-V environments
  • Sage/Timberline experience is a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of scripting and group policies
  • Helpdesk ticketing support experience
  • Experience with virus and spyware removal on networks and individual systems
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent administrative and documentation skills
  • Ability to Multi-task
